PetRescue has always been about giving a voice to the little guy – to all the hundreds of volunteer foster carers and small independent rescue groups, so often overlooked when it comes to the opportunities online and in the media.

One pet related magazine quoted the RSPCA, the AWL and PetRescue as ‘the big three’ when it came to pet adoption. We’re obviously incredibly pleased to be able to offer this kind of exposure to each and every one of our rescue members.

So on Friday when we found out that our founder, Michelle Williamson is in the running for a YEN Young Woman of the Year Award we thought it was a great opportunity for even more mainstream exposure for rescue groups Australia wide!
